PuzzleSystems professional are committed to creating appealing web sites, banners and logos, but also develop database solutions to store and process your information. PuzzleSystems will analyze your requirements to ensure that we will provide you with a good database design. Database Solutions The database design process consists of the following steps: Requirements collection Systems Analysis Conceptual database design and planning DBMS (Database Management Systems) selection and recomendation Data model mapping Physical database design Database system implementation We use the proven 5-step process to develop our database solutions. 1. Initial Consultation At first we discuss your problem or desired additional requirements. We then consider platform and software requirements (e.g., Access, SQL Server, Sysbase, etc.), all necessary integration with your other systems/applications requirements. Our first main goal is to understand what you really require so that we cac recommend the right databse solution. 2. Proposal Our second stper compises the preparation and submition of a detailed proposal. The proposal is based on our estimate of the total hours it will take us to build the required database solution that will meet your requirements and expectations. We will be available to answer any questions you might have about the proposal and functional specification of the database design that we inculde in our proposal. All suggetstions or comments are welcome. 3. Scoping Depending on the solution's complexity and size , we will need to talk over and over again before we will actually start designing the database. This step can be unnecessary if the solution is not too complex. The more we get information early in the process the better. 4. Database Prototype Development Based on the information from steps 1-3, we will then develop a prototype of the database and discuss it with you. Your suggestions on end-user interface, usability and the outputs will be taken into consideration. 5. Database Completion Finally, we incorporate the feedback from the prototype meeting and, using appropriate software development methodologies we complete and deliver your ready-for-integration database solution. Documentation, manuals and training will be delivered at this time as well as agreed in the proposal. |
